Community Ambassadors

INTRODUCING THE OUR COMMUNITY CARES AMBASSADOR PROGRAM

What is a Community Ambassador?
o A “Community Ambassador” is a marketing term for a person “employed”, (in OCCi case, a volunteer), to promote its products or services within the activity known as community outreach. The community ambassador is meant to embody the corporate identity in appearance, demeanor, values and ethics. A community ambassador program is very similar to what an Auxiliary would be to an organization.

Why an ambassador group?
o The main function of an ambassador group will be to coordinate and engage other volunteers of OCC to assist with fundraisers, help out at events, serve the community and help spread the word about Our Community Cares.

Benefits
o By utilizing the many individuals who have offered to volunteer their time to OCC., the addition of an ambassador group will enable OCC to further its’ mission of supporting Columbia County residents in need. Also, many of the family members we have assisted have expressed an interest in helping others.
